Carolyn and I were linked from birth. She was six weeks older than me. Her mom was ill so my mom nursed her until she went into delivery. My mother resumed care of her when we came home. We grew up doing everything together. We dressed alike for most of the major events of our lives. All of my memories are linked to Carolyn in some fashion. We were more like sisters and remained that way until her passing.
