October 14, 1950 ~ November 8, 2019

RAYMOND "Daddy Boy" CELESTINE JR., 69, was born October 14, 1950 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In the early years he was employed at Charity Hospital and later began a new career with Northrop Grumman as a mechanic.  Daddy Boy had a great passion for painting. He also loved to fly drones, and repair remote control cars during his free time. Daddy Boy was an avid music lover and collected many albums over the years. He was also very funny, with a great sense of humor.  Ray was known for his infectious smile, laugh and loving spirit. He enjoyed helping others when he could.  He departed this life Friday, November 8, 2019 at 5:53 pm. in his residence.  He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons, Ashley Celestine, Raymond Celestine III, and Terrence Simpson; one sister, Audrey Slaughter; and one brother, Ragle Celestine.  His graveside service will be 1PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Combre Memorial Park.
