I have very fond memories of Artie Faye. The fondest memories were of me, her, Faye Jefferson and Janice Thomas going out on Saturday nights. You know the place - Ball's. After partying, we would walk home, but not before purchasing some of Ball's famous fried chickien. One night while walking home, we almost lost our chicken because of the roaring barks of Tuney Fourcard's huge dogs. (I think they were Great Danes) One of us dropped our chicken and someone said "FORGET THE CHICKEN, LET'S RUN."
